1066 Harold’s Way by Thames Clipper

Cheating I know, but I always looked on in envy at the speeding Thames Clippers walking on a wet and windy Thames Path to Greenwich and on to the O2 Arena and now was my chance to ride the waves.

Daddy’s Day 2014 and I was treated with a different view of 1066 Harold’s Way, one from the river.

It was certainly a different journey to start Walk 2, Greenwich to Lesnes Abbey, than that suburban train from London Bridge.

The photographs follow the story of the walk from Queenhythe to London Bridge, The Angel, Execution Dock,The Mayflower and The Old Salt Quay to Greenwich and the O2

It was a most enjoyable day out if slightly cooler than we all imagined.
