A Saturday Stroll

Hastings Pier has been reborn and it is good to walk the boards again.

It is a Pier for the 21st Century, modernist and streamlined and a tribute to Hastings and St Leonards who have always been at the cutting edge of new design in Burton St Leonards, Sidney Little and Marine Court.

And it is a fitting start to the Secret St Leonards Walking Trail that will allow you to explore and discover some of the history of St Leonards on Sea.

Click on the poster for a link to a short film of the walk.

  1. Hi Dave Cracking slide show. St Leonards looks lovely in the sunshine. Seriously though the town looks spick and span nowadays with the houses nicely painted. Regards JIM

  2. Hi Jim, been on the pier today but although it was cold, the sense of space was awesome and the view of the town from the sea stunning without all the old ‘tat’ to block the panorama. I’ll wait for a warmer day for tea on the pier or even something a little stronger. Your copy of the book is in the post. Best wishes Dave
